A new Qsl info resource for DxSpider cluster
This area is reserved to DxSpider Sysops.
I have been asked by IZ5FSA Leo, sysop of IZ5FSA-6 DX Cluster in Italy, to grant the access to my Qsl Database from the DxSpider cluster clients with a new command. It seemed to me a good idea, so here we are!
If you are a DxSpider sysop and would like to give your users this new feature, please follow the instructions and register your PCL node.
If you are a user of a DxSpider cluster node and would like to have this new command available on it, please contact your Sysop and ask him to visit this page.
The sh/ik3qar <call> command
With this command your users will be able to query the ik3qar Qsl Database. Like in the Web version, users will get backthe qsl managers, addresses and notes regarding the call they typed.
There are, however, some limitations, due to the need of keeping results as short and as compact as possibile:
- Managers are limited to max 5 in descending order
- Addresses are limited to the addresses of the previous result, so also max 5
- Notes are limited to max 5
- Qsl tips are not shown
Policy and restrictions
The use of the query script is ONLY allowed from within the DxSpider by users typing the sh/ik3qar commands one-by-one, maually. Any other different use/access is not allowed. Automated accesses (Web browser based or via the DxSpider using any kind of scripts or automations) are strictly forbidden. No exceptions. Please inform your users about that.
For these reasons access is password protected and sysops are asked to register their node.
