Note from QRZ.COM [14 May 2006]
DQ2006(x) and DR2006(x) are SPECIAL EVENT STATIONS during the FOOTBALL WORLD CUP 2006 held in GERMANY.
The HAM-Radio activity starts May, 13th and ends July 16th 2006.
There is a total of 38 special event stations active during this event, 26 of them with the DQ2006 prefix, 12 with the DR2006 prefix - located in the different DARC districts.
All contacts with this station will be confirmed automatically via the DARC QSL bureau. Unless you are a SWL, please do not send a QSL card via the bureau - it is not needed.
If you wish to send direct, the QSL manager for this operation is DF4ZL.
Please enclose SAE plus $2 or 1 IRC.
A special award is available for working a number of special event stations and German stations. Please find details here: http://www.amateurradio2006.de/diplomausschreibung.html |
