To CU2JT: you are wrong. The cost for a letter of weight up to 20gr. from Italy to Oceania (Zone 3) is € 2.00. See http://www.poste.it/postali/estero/prioritaria_prezzieformati.shtml
This is what you pay in Italy for a letter to ZL if you go to the post-office.
The other fair you found is probably for corporates, but i can assure you that the above are the current prices for ''normal'' people. Just to give out a correct information.

I received a card direct from IK2IQD but he said the IRC is only worth 90 Euro cents, whereas airmail cost 2.05 Euros. So much for the international agreement on 1 IRC being enough for 1 airmail letter. |
