Here you will find information, pictures, island's history from some of my iia expeditions to the Venice Lagoon Isles (IOTA EU-131).

My IIA activity started on 1992 with IL3SP expediton on "Pellestrina" island (iia VE-033), orgainzed and supported by ARI Mestre team.

After the great success of that expedition, on the same year we activated "Le Vignole" island (iia VE-017).

On 1995 we back to Pellestrina as IL3/IK3QAR.

On 1996 i have operated on several contests (2 times on the IOTA) from the great qth of Oreste (IK3VIA/N7OV) on "Lido" island (iia VE-032) as IL3/IK3QAR.

I want to thank Oreste and each one of you for giving me the chance to work huge pile-ups "from the other side".

On 1998 together with Oreste we have activated 16 different IIA isles of the Venice's lagoon placing second in the "Activators" category of the Italian Islands Award Trophy always as IL3/IK3QAR.

On 1999 the "IL3" prefix was deleted (did you worked it for WPX? ;). Now only /p operations are possible from Venice Isles.
